Tips to stay committed to your detox/weight loss program
- Plan how much you want to lose and in what time frame. Be realistic about this goal. Write it down in a place(s) where you are constantly reminded of this end goal.
- Evaluate your lifestyle and eating habits. Identify changes that you can make in terms of adding more exercise (walking, yoga, pilates, ab crunches etc) and reducing any (junk) food in-take.
- Talk to family and friends and share your goal with them. Request for their commitment and support.
- Maintain a food log. This should include everything that you eat and drink (carbonated drinks, coffee, tea) on a daily basis. Use the sample on the back of this page as sample food log.
- Once you start the program, discipline yourself to maintain a log of your weight and overall progress.
